Bit of a short one. Four-day week, as I had a hospital procedure to try and fix my busted shoulder. A week of more frustrations and not enough time in the day.
Work:
An infuriating issue with RDS on a non-domain joined virtual machine kept me busy for two days!!!!! I thought I was done with servers.
Finished the DR code for Greenfield. Now need to run through the plan with the team and test it.
The Postgres instance performance issue has raised its head again. Microsoft are suggesting its not the backend like the previous occasion so we need to address the SKU.
Helping with other support issues raised.
Not work:
One lousy run. I thought I had the time and turned the corner, but this week has been a bust. Next week.
Think we bit off more than we can chew with this kitchen. So underestimated how much of a ballache it would be. It has swallowed up so much of my time. All I can keep doing is driving it forward. And we are getting there.
What I read:
What I listened to:
Head buried in BBC Sounds and Spotify playlists.
Substack posts:
Nothing. I don't have any bandwidth right now to start looking at the next stages of my greenfield diaries. I have a list, but other things are taking priority right now.
